Telepsychiatry coverage and cost-sharing vary by insurer and specific plan. We review available telehealth benefits before the appointment, and patients should confirm network status and plan requirements directly with their insurer.
We review available insurance benefit information before the first appointment and provide an estimate of expected patient responsibility. Benefit information is not a guarantee of payment; the insurer makes the final coverage and claim determination.
A Good Faith Estimate is a written estimate of expected charges for uninsured patients and patients who do not plan to use insurance. It is available upon request and is provided for scheduled services when required under the No Surprises Act. See our insurance and fees page for details.

Clear Path Psychiatry is open Wednesday–Friday 10AM–8PM and Saturday–Sunday 9AM–3PM. Evening and weekend hours are designed to accommodate working adults who cannot take time off during the week.

Your first appointment is a comprehensive 60-minute psychiatric evaluation covering current symptoms, mental health and medical history, medications, family history, prior treatment, and treatment goals. When clinically appropriate, diagnostic impressions, treatment options, and recommended next steps are discussed. See our new patient guide for a full overview.
Standard medication-management follow-up appointments are 30 minutes. Extended follow-up appointments are 45 minutes when additional time is scheduled.
A list of current medications and dosages, any relevant mental health or medical records, your insurance card and photo ID, and any completed intake forms sent to you before your visit. You'll receive instructions when your appointment is confirmed.
Not always. The initial visit focuses on a thorough evaluation before any treatment decisions are made. Some patients leave with a treatment recommendation and prescription. Others may require additional history-gathering or lab work first. The pace of treatment is determined by clinical need and your preferences.
Clear Path Psychiatry specializes in psychiatric evaluation and medication management, and may provide brief supportive therapy when clinically appropriate. When stand-alone psychotherapy is needed, we coordinate referrals to trusted local therapists through our care coordination services.
Care is provided by Alexandro Vasquez, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, a doctorally prepared and board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. PMHNPs are advanced practice registered nurses educated and licensed to evaluate mental health conditions, make psychiatric diagnoses, prescribe medications, and manage treatment. Yes. Secure telepsychiatry appointments are available for adults located in Minnesota. Video visits follow the same clinical standards used for in-person care, although telepsychiatry may not be appropriate for every patient or clinical situation. No. Clear Path Psychiatry serves adults aged 18 and older exclusively. All protocols, treatment planning, and clinical standards are designed for adult mental health care.
Yes. Many patients at Clear Path Psychiatry also work with therapists. We actively coordinate with existing providers when you give consent to do so. Medication management and therapy complement each other well for many conditions.
Controlled medications may be considered when clinically appropriate after a comprehensive evaluation, but a prescription is not guaranteed. Treatment decisions follow Minnesota and federal requirements, prescription-monitoring expectations, clinical standards, and Clear Path Psychiatry’s controlled-substance policies.
Clear Path Psychiatry does not provide primary substance use disorder treatment but evaluates and treats co-occurring psychiatric conditions such as depression, anxiety, and trauma that commonly occur alongside substance use. Referrals to appropriate substance use resources are coordinated when needed.
