New Patients
Your first appointment is a comprehensive 60-minute evaluation covering current symptoms, psychiatric and medical history, prior treatments, family history, medications, and treatment goals. Recommendations are developed after reviewing the available clinical information, and additional assessment or records may sometimes be needed.
Ongoing Care
Ongoing follow-up appointments monitor your treatment response, manage side effects, and adjust medications as needed. Initial follow-ups are typically within 2–4 weeks, with frequency adjusted based on your clinical needs and stability over time.
Coordination
Treatment planning is collaborative and individualized. With appropriate consent, we can coordinate with your therapist, primary care provider, or other specialists when clinically indicated. Recommendations and follow-up expectations are reviewed during visits as appropriate.
Available Statewide
Secure video appointments are available for adults located in Minnesota. Visits follow the same clinical standards used for in-person care, although telepsychiatry may not be appropriate for every patient or clinical situation. It can be especially useful for adults who face long drives or scheduling barriers.
